Our history
For nearly two decades, Jason Woodbury led operations inside large organizations — from Fortune 200 enterprises to private equity-backed companies — where he built a career transforming and scaling operations, driving technology and process improvement, and owning enterprise-wide change.
The idea for JWoodbury Consulting took shape while Jason was serving as a senior operating executive for a PE-backed shared services provider. He watched, up close, how hard it is for a smaller company to drive real operational change. The daily demands of growth — new clients, new sites, new fires to put out — naturally pull leadership's attention away from the underlying operations that make scale possible. And even when there's genuine momentum for improvement, the complexity of cross-functional processes and technology transformation is often more than a lean team is staffed to handle.
Leaders see this happening. They know the complexity in front of them outweighs the time and talent they have to throw at it — and that gap is where transformation stalls.
That's the gap JWoodbury Consulting was built to close.
Founded in 2023, JWoodbury Consulting exists to own and drive complex operational change across the enterprise — bringing the same rigor, structure, and cross-functional discipline used inside large organizations to companies that don't have an internal team built for it. We partner with small- and mid-size companies that know transformation is critical to their future but can't take it on alone, and we roll up our sleeves to help them get it done.

Our mission
Our mission at JWoodbury Consulting is to help small- to mid-size recyclers grow and scale. We focus specifically on improving production planning, increasing yield, and strengthening inventory controls. We identify the root causes of problems, devise strategies, and execute alongside your team.
And we measure our results, because transformation only counts if it actually happens.
Our Founder
Jason Woodbury has spent over 20 years in business strategy execution for Fortune 200 enterprises and private equity-backed companies with portfolios reaching $90M. As a former COO and SVP, he has led global teams of 150+ and driven transformation from strategy through execution.
At CBRE, he advanced to Senior Managing Director of Enterprise Operational Excellence, where he eliminated over $20M in financial risk, stabilized operations for top-tier clients, and led post-acquisition IT integrations (up to $2B).
At NorthMark Strategies, he spearheaded enterprise-wide transformation, achieving an 80% improvement in SLA compliance for a major client while managing real estate due diligence on multi-million-dollar contracts.
Most recently, Jason has worked directly in the recycling industry, helping clients solve real-world problems to reduce cost and unlock growth.
Jason holds an MBA in Finance from Baylor University and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
